Business Need
The company was a pre-IPO startup and was conceived to RADICALLY transform the process of pharmaceutical development. They are dedicated to maximizing the value of pharmaceutical pipelines by using proprietary and revolutionary formulation technology platforms in drug formulation and chemical research.
The key functional areas identified for the BI implementation are Formulation Assay Systems Technology (FAST), CrystalMAX, CORE Data warehouse and ODS (Operational Data Store).
The ability to search not only by compound name and structure, but also by molecular descriptors and the ability to direct multiple experiments on multiple machines simultaneously have been identified as critical needs.
